Tammy graduated Merritt Davis (Trend College) in Eugene, Oregon with a certificate in Secretarial Studies (1986). She began her 30-year career in 1989 as a file clerk with the Appellate Division of the Oregon Department of Justice, ending her government status in 1997 as a case manager in the Child Support Collections unit. During that time, she supported attorneys as a file clerk, receptionist, secretary, legal secretary, case manager and trainer. In 1998, she joined the law firm of Adams, Day & Hill (nka Adams, Hill & Hess), Salem, Oregon as a legal assistant until 2004 when she joined the firm of Moomaw Mesirow & Godfrey, LLP providing legal assistant, manager and paralegal support services. In 2015, and with the support of the Beaverton firm, Tammy became self-employed and opened S & T Support, LLC, a paralegal support and firm development business.

By serving both in government and private practice roles, Tammy has gained experience in the following practice areas: estate planning & administration, probate, governmental legal practices including appellate procedure and administrative law, personal injury, litigation, business, collections, family law, contract law, property, construction law and employment law.

Tammy is an active community partner, serving on various non-profit boards and is a proud member of multiple chambers of commerce throughout the Willamette Valley. She can typically be found working with various community members toward economic growth, networking with her fellow small business owners and teaching others her trade. Tammy’s personal time is spent with her husband, her children and grandchildren.
